Chinese Flowering Dogwood - Trinity Star
A smaller and more compact Chinese Flowering Dogwood than most. Produces an abundance of crisp white star like bracts (flowers). Nice mid-green foliage turns reddish-burgundy in fall. Also, seen in fall is small strawberry like fruits. Grows 12-15′ high and wide.

Parentage unknown.
Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun.
Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining slightly acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed, can be done in the spring right after the flowers finish. Do not trim summer or afterwards as, you will be removing next springs flower buds.
