Chinese Flowering Dogwood - Milky Way
A favourite choice among many, this Chinese Flowering Dogwood produces an abundance of long lasting creamy white bracts (flowers) which develop into strawberry like fruits in fall. Glossy green leaves transition to orange-red during fall. Grows 20′ high and wide.

Origin
Parentage unknown. Seedling selected from a seedbed at Wayside Gardens of Ohio in the 1960s.

Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun.
Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining slightly acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed, can be done in the spring right after the flowers finish. Do not trim summer or afterwards as, you will be removing next springs flower buds.
