NATIVE – A beautiful tree which showcases gorgeous 3-4″ wide white bracts (flowers) in the early spring before foliage emerges. Dark green leaves turn shades of vibrant red in fall. Red berries are also seen during this time. Grows 20-25′ high and wide.

Native to Southern Ontario, Eastern USA and Northern Mexico.

Special Notes

Exposure: Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light. Protected from the hot mid-day sun.

Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining slightly acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils.

Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed, can be done in the spring right after the flowers finish. Do not trim summer or afterwards as, you will be removing next springs flower buds.
