Pagoda Dogwood - Golden Shadows®
NATIVAR – A variegated Pagoda Dogwood! Bright golden-yellow leaves with an irregular green central blotch covers the horizontal branches of this tree. Clusters of small yellow-white flowers in late spring lead way to blue-black berries in late summer. A pinkish-red hue can be seen on the leaves during early spring and fall. Grows 10-12′ high and wide.

Origin
Originated as a branch sport of an unnamed Cornus alternifolia in West Chicago, Illinois. Found by Walter Stackman before 1997.

Cornus alternifolia 'Wstackman'
Special Notes
Exposure: Part Sun to Shade.
Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining slightly acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed, can be done in the spring right after the flowers finish. Do not trim summer or afterwards as, you will be removing next springs flower buds.
