Pagoda Dogwood - Silver
NATIVAR – A variegated Pagoda Dogwood featuring green leaves (smaller than the species) which are edged in silvery-white on top of horizontal branches. These leaves turn red and purple in fall. Clusters of creamy-white flowers in late spring produce bluish-black fruits in late summer. Grows 10-15′ high by 12-20′ wide.

Parentage unknown. Introduced by Temple and Beard Nursery, USA before 1900.

Special Notes
Exposure: Part Sun to Shade.
Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining slightly acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed, can be done in the spring right after the flowers finish. Do not trim summer or afterwards as, you will be removing next springs flower buds.
