A large growing golden Hinoki Cypress. Forms a pyramidal shape of frond-like, spreading, golden-yellow foliage. Grows 10′ high by 4.5′ wide in a 10 year period. Best in part-shade to avoid sunburn.

Parentage unknown. Seedling selected by Cripps & Sons Nursery of the United Kingdom before 1901.

Exposure: Part Sun or filtered light.
Soil: Tolerant of various well draining soils, preferring slightly acidic.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed from spring to early August.
