Eastern Redbud - Vanilla Twist
NATIVAR – A weeping Eastern Redbud with white flowers. Cascading branches are covered in white pea-like flowers early spring before the leaves emerge. Heart shaped foliage comes out light green maturing to darker green by summer and turning yellow in fall. Grows 12′ high by 8′ wide.

Origin
Hybrid seedling of Cercis canadensis 'Covey' (Lavender Twist) and Cercis canadensis f. alba 'Royal White'. Selected by Brotzman Nursery of Ohio in 1998.
Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun. Shelter from winter winds.
Soil: Prefers moist, well draining soils. Dislikes heavy compacted clay or very sandy dry soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning to shape right after flowering. Remove dead wood in early spring.
