NATIVAR – A stunning variegated Eastern Redbud! New heart-shaped foliage emerges maroon-purple but develops to gain shades of pink, white and green all on one tree. As the leaves continue to mature, they turn green by summer and change to yellow in fall. Small pink pea-like flowers emerge in spring before the leaves. Grows 20′ high by 25′ wide.

Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun. Shelter from winter winds.
Soil: Prefers moist, well draining soils. Dislikes heavy compacted clay or very sandy dry soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning to shape right after flowering. Remove dead wood in early spring.
