Cercis canadensis ‘Appalachian Red’

Eastern Redbud - Appalachian Red

NATIVAR – A striking cultivar of Eastern Redbud. Dark magenta pea-shaped flower buds can appear close to red in colouration and open to bright neon pink. Flowers emerge early spring before leaves come out. Otherwise, this variety is very similar to the species, with green heart-shaped leaves which turn yellow in fall. Grows 15′-20′ high and wide.
