Japanese Full Moon Maple - A Moving Fan
This Full Moon Maple features medium sized serrated leaves which gives the appearance of moving fans! Spring foliage emerges yellow-green with some bronze hues. Summer foliage matures to a more typical green continuing with the bronzing. By fall, the foliage transitions to pink-red to orange colours. Grows 9′ high by 5′ wide in a 10 year period.

Origin
Seedling of Acer shirasawanum 'Palmatifolium'. Discovered and introduced by Buchholz Nursery, Oregon.
Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light.
Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining slightly acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed, can be done during winter up until early August.
