Japanese Maple - Mountain Side

A new semi-dwarf Japanese Maple. Narrow ribbon-style leaves are similar to ‘Koto no ito’, however mature trees feature a somewhat corky bark! Green spring and summer foliage transitions to reds and oranges in the fall. Grows 8′ high by 6′ wide in a 10 year period.

Special Notes

Exposure: Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light. Protected from the hot mid-day sun.

Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining slightly acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils.

Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed, can be done during winter up until early August.
