Acer palmatum ‘Uzen nishiki’
Japanese Maple - Uzen Brocade
A stunning variegated Japanese Maple! New green spring leaves emerge with thick purplish-pink margins. The inners of the leaves are splashed with pink and white variegation which takes over more as the margins fade. The degree of variegation can vary greatly leaf to leaf. By late summer, the foliage fades more to green before turning reddish-orange in the fall. Grows 8′ high by 6′ wide in a 10 year period.
