Japanese Maple - Tiger Rose
A nice variegated Japanese Maple with a semi-pendulous cascading habit. Medium to large leaves emerge in the spring bright pink changing to a creamy-white with green veins highlighted throughout as well as tinged red margins. By summer the leaves darken to a light green leaving the darker veins still showy. Yellow-orange fall colour. Grows 6′ high by 4′ wide in a 10 year period.

Origin
Chance seedling of Acer palmatum 'Azuma murasaki'. Selected and named for his wife by Dr. Bump of Oregon.
Special Notes
Exposure: Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light. Protected from the hot mid-day sun.
Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining slightly acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed, can be done during winter up until early August.
