Japanese Maple - Red Wine
A dwarf Japanese Maple whose foliage emerges pink-red in the spring. The foliage fades to a more greenish tone by summer, however, new foliage flushes out the stunning pink-red colouration again. During fall, the foliage changes to a bright reddish-orange. Grows 4′ high by 3′ wide in a 10 year period.

Parentage unknown. Originated in Europe.
Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light.
Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining slightly acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed, can be done during winter up until early August.
