Japanese Maple - Red Flash
Large bright red leaves emerge in the spring turning purplish-red by summer and taking on a green hue in late summer. New foliage push during the summer is bright red again creating a nice two tone contrast with its darker mature foliage. Bright red leaves return for the fall. Grows 9′ high by 5′ wide in a 10 year period.

Parentage unknown. Introduced by Fratelli Gilardelli Nursery, Italy.
Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light.
Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining slightly acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed, can be done during winter up until early August.
