Acer palmatum ‘Purple Ghost’

Acer palmatum ‘Purple Ghost’

Japanese Maple - Purple Ghost

Probably the most well known Japanese Maple of the ‘Ghost Series’. Large, red new spring foliage emerges with a network of black veins. By the summer, the colour tones down to a more reddish-purple with the veins fading. The foliage transitions to a brilliant orange-red colour in the fall. Grows 8′ high by 4′ wide in a 10 year period.
