Japanese Maple - Graceful Beauty

A subtle variegated Japanese Maple where its new spring leaves emerge a light yellow-green. Darker edges are shown along with its green veins. By summer, the colour fades to just a very light pale-green variegation. The foliage transitions to oranges and reds during the fall. Grows 6′ high by 3′ wide in a 10 year period.

Parentage unknown. Discovered and introduced by Buchholz Nursery, Oregon.

Special Notes

Exposure: Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light. Protected from the hot mid-day sun.

Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining slightly acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils.

Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed, can be done during winter up until early August.
