Acer palmatum ‘Matsuyoi’
Japanese Maple - Waiting For The Early Evening
A medium sized Japanese Maple with unusual foliage. Instead of being flat, leaves bend slightly up or down, others slightly twist. This gives the plant a wind-blown look. Large, new leaves emerge a pale yellowish-green and mature a bright green by summer. During fall, the foliage transitions to a combo of yellow and deep orange. Grows 6′ high by 5′ wide in a 10 year period.
