Acer palmatum ‘Kasen nishiki’
Japanese Maple - Flower Fountain
New medium sized spring foliage emerges pink to orange- red which matures to a nice green with white dustings on the leaves which can vary leaf-to-leaf. Leaves can also have twisted sickle-like lobes adding to the affect. Fall foliage is red. Grows 6′ high by 4′ wide in a 10 year period.

Parentage unknown. Listed in Japan since 1882.

Special Notes
Exposure: Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light. Protected from the hot mid-day sun.
Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining slightly acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed, can be done during winter up until early August.
