A very small weeping Japanese Maple. Spring leaves emerge bright red with a pink hue turning maroon by summer and transitioning to a bright scarlet colour in the fall. Stake to desired size.

Found as a witch's broom on Acer palmatum dissectum 'Crimson Queen' by Ash's Japanese Maple Farm in North Carolina.

Special Notes
Exposure: Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light. Protected from the hot mid-day sun.
Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining slightly acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed, can be done during winter up until early August.
