Acer palmatum dissectum ‘Inaba shidare’

Acer palmatum dissectum ‘Inaba shidare’

Japanese Maple - Cutleaf - Cascading Rice Plant

A vigorous weeping Japanese Maple which is very well known. Most weeping Japanese Maple on their own will only put on ~1-2″ growth of height per season as they build upon themselves, thus they more or less maintain their current size unless being staked to grow taller. ‘Inaba Shidare’ is a bit of an exception putting on up to 6″ of height growth per year on its own. It has dark red-purple leaves in spring and summer changing to a bright crimson fall colour. Stake to desired size.
