Japanese Maple - Crippsii
This Japanese Maple is similar to ‘Okushimo’ and ‘Kurui jishi’ having green leaves with rolled up leaf edges. The leaves change to orange in the fall. This dwarf, upright vase variety grows 5′ high and wide in a 10 year period.

Origin
Parentage unknown. Introduced by Hillier's Nursery in England appearing in their 1914 catalogue.
Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light.
Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining slightly acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed, can be done during winter up until early August.
