Japanese Maple - Red Folded Crane
A lesser known Japanese Maple. Leaves emerge a crimson-purple in spring and transitions to a bronzy-brown by summer. During the fall, the foliage changes to a reddish-orange colour. Grows 6-8′ high and wide in a 10 year period.

Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light.
Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining slightly acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed, can be done during winter up until early August.
