Veitch's Fir - Rumburk
A dwarf Veitch’s Fir which forms a very dense, flat-topped mound of prostrating branches. Two-tone needles of blue and green give a silvery look when the undersides are exposed. Grows 1′ high by 2′ wide in a 10 year period.

Origin
Parentage unknown. Found as a witch's broom near Rumburk, Czech Republic by Ladizslav Fritsche in 1972.
Special Notes
Exposure: Prefers full sun to partial shade.
Soil: Prefers acidic, moist but well draining workable soil. Dislikes extremes such as wet or bone-dry soils.
Maintenance: Selective trimming only when needed.
