Spanish Fir - Horstmann
A dwarf Spanish Fir which forms a dense flat globe. Thick, pointy needles are blue-grey. Occasionally forms a leader in time to become a dense squatty pyramid. Grows 3′ high by 2′ wide in a 10 year period.

Origin
Originated as a witch's broom on Abies pinsapo 'Glauca'. Found by Güsnter Horstmann of Germany in 1978.

Abies pinsapo 'Horstmann's Nana'
Special Notes
Exposure: Prefers full sun to partial shade.
Soil: Prefers acidic, moist but well draining workable soil. Dislikes extremes such as wet or bone-dry soils.
Maintenance: Selective trimming only when needed.
