NATIVAR – A dwarf Alpine Fir, forming a diminutive globe shape of short green needles. In time a leader can form to become a pyramidal globe. Grows 2.5′ high and wide in a 10 year period.

Origin
Parentage unknown. Introduced by Verkade Nursery of New Jersey in 1979.
Special Notes
Exposure: Prefers full sun to partial shade.
Soil: Prefers acidic, moist but well draining workable soil. Dislikes extremes such as wet or bone-dry soils.
Maintenance: Selective trimming only when needed.
