Korean Fir - Golden
A dwarf Korean Fir with golden foliage. New spring foliage emerges lemon-yellow, maturing to a light green by fall. Irregular growing, starting as a globose-nest when young and taking on a leader with age. Purple new cones make a stunning contrast with the foliage. Grows 3′ high by 2′ wide in a 10 year period.

Origin
Parentage unknown. Originated by Lohbrunner Nursery, British Columbia in 1956.
Special Notes
Exposure: Prefers partial shade.
Soil: Prefers acidic, moist but well draining workable soil. Dislikes extremes such as wet or bone-dry soils.
Maintenance: Selective trimming only when needed.
