Acer palmatum ‘White Peaches’
Japanese Maple - White Peaches
A semi-dwarf, variegated Japanese Maple. Reticulated spring leaves emerge creamy white with red tips. The red tips soon fade showcasing dark green veining. The leaves due fade by summer but reticulation is still seen. Foliage changes to yellow and orange in the fall. Grows 6′ high by 5′ wide in a 10 year period.

Origin
Parentage unknown. Introduced by Buchholz Nursery, Oregon.
Special Notes
Exposure: Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light. Protected from the hot mid-day sun.
Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining slightly acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed, can be done during winter up until early August.
Originally labeled as Acer palmatum ‘Peaches and Cream’ at Dr. Bump’s garden. Mr. Buchholz noticed this having a much more white colouration and renamed it.
