Japanese Maple - Villa Taranto
The large long lobed smooth leaves on this Japanese Maple are exquisite! This ‘ribbonleaf’ style leaves emerge a crimson-orange colour in spring quickly changing to reddish colour with green hues. By fall, the foliage turns golden yellow. Grows 6′ high and wide in a 10 year period.

Origin
Parentage unknown. Found from the Villa Taranto, Italy. Introduced by Firma C. Esveld Nursery in Boskoop, Netherlands.
Special Notes
Exposure: Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light. Protected from the hot mid-day sun.
Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining slightly acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed, can be done during winter up until early August.
