Acer palmatum ‘Sagara nishiki’
Japanese Maple - Sagara nishiki
Light green leaves emerge with pale yellow speckling mainly on the margins but occasionally throughout more of the leaf. The variegation is irregular and some leaves appear with more than others. By summer the green backdrop darkens. The leaves transition to a bright yellow and orange fall colour. Grows 7′ high by 4′ wide in a 10 year period.

Parentage unknown.
Special Notes
Exposure: Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light. Protected from the hot mid-day sun.
Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining slightly acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed, can be done during winter up until early August.
