Japanese Maple - Weeping Treasure

The legendary weeping Japanese Maple, a national treasure in Japan! Considered to be one of the oldest weeping varieties, the spring board (not cutleaf) foliage emerges an orange-yellow colour which transitions to a more solid medium green by summer. In the fall, colours of reds and oranges are seen. Grows 5-6′ high by 6-7′ wide in a 10 year period.

Special Notes

Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light.

Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining slightly acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils.

Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed, can be done during winter up until early August.
