Japanese Maple - Jerre Schwartz
A dwarf compact Japanese Maple with small leaves that emerge pink in the spring, transitioning to a reddish-purple and by summer a greenish-bronze. Fall brings a scarlet-red colour. Grows 5′ high by 4′ wide in a 10 year period.

Origin
Parentage unknown. Found as a witch's broom and introduced by Green Mansions Nursery, Pennsylvania.
Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light.
Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining slightly acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed, can be done during winter up until early August.
