Japanese Maple - Cutleaf - Autumn Fire
A weeping Japanese Maple with a semi-erect habit. Large, very coarse, new spring foliage emerges light yellow-green with a pinkish margin. The foliage matures medium-green for most of the season but during the fall, turns brilliant fiery red with orange! Stake to desired height.

Origin
Parentage unknown. Chance seedling found in 1979 by Del's Japanese Maple Nursery in Oregon and introduced to the trade in 1996.
Special Notes
Exposure: Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light. Protected from the hot mid-day sun.
Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining slightly acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed, can be done during winter up until early August.
