A large growing, variegated Hiba Arborvitae. Forms a broad pyramid of green scaled foliage with creamy-white blotches found irregularly throughout. Grows 10′ high by 5′ wide in a 10 year period.

Origin
Parentage unknown. Originated from Japan. Introduced into the Netherlands by P.F. von Siebold in 1861.
Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Shade or indirect/filtered light. Must be planted in a well protected area out of the prevailing winter winds.
Soil: Adaptable to various soils. Prefers slightly acidic soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed from spring to July.
