Bald Cypress - Peve Minaret
A semi-dwarf, columnar Bald Cypress with a unique structure. Deep green leaves are smaller than the species and get shorter towards the ends of the branchlets giving the look of tiny minarets. Gains a strong central leader with dense short side branches. Foliage turns a strong orange-bronze colour in the fall before shedding. Grows 4′-6′ high by 2′-3′ wide in a 10 year period.

Origin
Parentage unknown. Seedling selected from a batch of chemically treated seeds by Piet Vergeldt of The Netherlands in 1990.
Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light.
Soil: Adaptable to various soils. Prefers slightly acidic soils. Moisture tolerant.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed from spring to July.
