An extremely dense, dwarf Scots Pine forming a globose-pyramid in time. Dark green, twisted long needles are tufted on the short branches. New needles emerge in summer which cover the winter buds. Grows 3′ high by 2′ wide in a 10 year period.

Parentage unknown. Recorded as early as 1891 by Ludwig Beissner of Germany.

Special Notes

Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light.

Soil: Adaptable to various well drained soils which are slightly acidic.

Maintenance: Candling is done to new spring shoots before the needles fully emerge.
