NATIVAR – A semi-dwarf Eastern White Pine with golden foliage that does not burn in full sun once established! Golden needles are long. Unless candled, the tree will become open with age. Grows 5′ high by 3′ wide in a 10 year period.

Origin
Parentage unknown. Found as a seedling in Hyde Park, Vermont by Greg Williams of Vermont before 1993.
Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light.
Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils. Intolerant to salt.
Maintenance: Candling is done to new spring shoots before the needles fully emerge.
