Parentage unknown. Originated from Gorden Bentham of British Columbia in 1962.

Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun.
Soil: Adaptable to various soils. Prefers slightly acidic soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed from spring to July.
