NATIVAR – A dwarf version of the Dwarf Alberta Spruce forming a dense, compact globe to conical shape. Course, green needles with interesting reddish-brown buds. Grows 3′ high and 2′ wide in a 10 year period.

Parentage unknown. Distributed by Garry van Winkle of Washington in 1978.

Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun.
Soil: Adaptable to various soils. Prefers slightly acidic soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed from spring to July.
