Engelmann Spruce - Blue Magoo
NATIVAR – A semi-dwarf Engelmann Spruce with unique teal-blue short new needles that mature gray-blue. New growth drops before stiffing out by summer to a broadly pyramidal form. Tiny red spring cones mature to dark brown. Grows 6′ high by 4′ wide in a 10 year period.

Origin
Parentage unknown. Originated as a seedling discovered and introduced by Buchholz Nursery, Oregon in 1964.

Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun.
Soil: Adaptable to various soils. Prefers slightly acidic soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed from spring to July.
