A dwarf Norway Spruce with slightly open branching forming a broad oval in time. Flat-topped globe when young. A very old cultivar. Grows 3′ high and wide in a 10 year period.

Parentage unknown. Seedling selected Th. Ohlendorff Nursery, Germany before 1850.

Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun.
Soil: Adaptable to various soils. Prefers slightly acidic soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed from spring to July.
