Japanese Larch - Peve Tunnis

A dwarf Japanese Larch which forms layered flatten globe of blue-green needles on horizontal branches. Foliage turns golden-yellow in fall before shedding exposing pink stems. Grows 2′ high by 3′ wide in a 10 year period.

Origin

Parentage unknown. Found as a witch's broom by Piet Vergeldt of the Netherlands in a tree which was located in St. Anthonis. The locals call this village, St. Tunnis.

Soil: Adaptable to various soils. Prefers moist slightly acidic soils.
