Chinese Flowering Dogwood - Powdered Lipstick
This Chinese Flowering Dogwood features white bracts (flowers) that are lightly powdered pink on the tips and edges. Dark green foliage blends greyish undertones and turns a stunning brick red in the fall. In addition, crimson red berries also appear during this time. Grows 20′ high by 15′ wide.

Origin
Parentage unknown. Introduced by Jim Zampini of Lake Country Nursery, Ohio.
Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun.
Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining slightly acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed, can be done in the spring right after the flowers finish. Do not trim summer or afterwards as, you will be removing next springs flower buds.
