Chamaecyparis obtusa ‘Hage’
Cypress - Hinoki - Hage
A lovely dwarf Hinoki Cypress which forms a low cushion. Dark green foliage is cupped and turns bronzy in winter. Similar to ‘Nana’ but denser and more globe shaped. Grows 16″ high and wide in a 10 year period.

Parentage unknown. Seedling selected by William C. Hage & Company Nursery, of The Netherlands in 1928.
Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun.
Soil: Tolerant of various well draining soils, preferring slightly acidic.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed from spring to early August.
