Leatherleaf Viburnum - Green Trump

A more compact Leatherleaf Viburnum featuring larger and more lustrous dark green evergreen foliage than the species. Clusters of small white flowers appear in late spring/early summer which are followed by red berries that ripen black. Grows 8′ high by 6′ wide.

Parentage unknown. Originated by Ward van Teylingen of the Netherlands.

Special Notes

Exposure: Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light. Must be planted in a well protected area out of the prevailing winter winds.

Soil: Adaptable to various soils.

Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed, can be done in the spring right after the flowers finish. Do not trim summer or afterwards as, you will be removing next springs flower buds.
