A dwarf golden Japanese Yew. One of the most brilliant gold cultivars even in shade. Forms a slow-growing, low compact form. Grows 1-1.5′ high by 3′ wide in a 10 year period.

Parentage unknown. Reported by Rehder in 1920.

Exposure: Full Sun to Full Shade.
Soil: Adaptable to various soils. Dislikes constantly wet soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed from spring to July.
