Japanese Black Pine - Thunderhead
A compact, dwarf Japanese Black Pine with a broadly pyramidal habit. Long, dark green needles are densely bunched and features large white buds. Grows 6′ high by 5′ wide in a 10 year period.

Origin
Parentage unknown. Originated as a seedling selected at Angelica Nurseries, Massachusetts before 1987.
Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light.
Soil: Adaptable to various well drained soils which are slightly acidic. Salt tolerant.
Maintenance: Candling is done to new spring shoots before the needles fully emerge.
