Scots Pine - Mitsch's Weeping
A weeping form of Scots Pine. Long grayish-green needles are attached to twisted, contorted branches forming large light-brown buds. A vigorous grower, which will crawl on the ground unless you stake it to your desired height.

Origin
Parentage unknown. Found as a seedling by John Mitsch of Mitsch Nursery, Oregon in 1965.

Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light.
Soil: Adaptable to various well drained soils which are slightly acidic.
Maintenance: Candling is done to new spring shoots before the needles fully emerge.
