A classic semi-dwarf Scots Pine having been around for quite a while. Gray-green new growth which lasts throughout summer turns golden yellow during the cooler winter months. Round when young, becoming conical with age. Grows 6-8′ high by 3-4′ wide in a 10 year period.

Parentage unknown. First described by Ottolander in Sieboldia (1876).

Special Notes

Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light.

Soil: Adaptable to various well drained soils which are slightly acidic.

Maintenance: Candling is done to new spring shoots before the needles fully emerge.
