NATIVAR – A columnar Eastern White Pine with ascending branches. Silvery-blue new foliage matures to a typical bluish-green. Fast growing to 10-15′ high by 4′ wide in a 10 year period.

Origin
Parentage unknown. Listed as early as 1884 by Beissner of Germany.
Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light.
Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils. Intolerant to salt.
Maintenance: Candling is done to new spring shoots before the needles fully emerge.
